Surrounded by bush on three sides and Queen Charlotte Sound out front, what better place to get away from it all and relax, awaken to the singing of bellbirds and tuis. Enjoy one of the bush walks, a swim or kayak in the bay, zoom down the flying fox, test your skills on the confidence course, ride a horse bareback through the bush, or expend your excess energy by conquering Mount Kahikatea with it’s breathtaking views.

The spacious grounds are ideal for recreation and sports and to top it off, all catering is done for you. Access to Curious Cove is by boat only. Launch trips to various places of interest in the Queen Charlotte Sound, including historic Ship Cove, are available, where at various times of the year it is possible to see penguins, seals, dolphins, and even occassionally whales.
